Serveo is committed to maintaining a safe and trustworthy platform. We have a zero-tolerance policy for phishing, malware, spam, and other malicious activities.

How to Report Abuse

If you encounter suspicious, malicious, or illegal content being served through Serveo, please report it immediately by emailing:

abuse@serveo.net

What to Include in Your Report

To help us investigate and take action quickly, please include the following information in your report:

  • URL: The full Serveo URL where you encountered the abuse (e.g., https://example.serveousercontent.com)
  • Description: A brief description of the abusive content or behavior
  • Evidence: Screenshots, logs, or other evidence that demonstrates the violation
  • Timestamp: When you discovered the abuse
  • Your Contact Information: An email address where we can reach you for follow-up questions (optional)

Types of Abuse We Address

We investigate and take action on reports involving:

  • Phishing: Sites designed to steal credentials, personal information, or financial data
  • Malware Distribution: Sites hosting or distributing viruses, trojans, ransomware, or other malicious software
  • Spam: Mass unsolicited commercial communications or advertising
  • Illegal Content: Content that violates applicable laws or regulations
  • Network Attacks: Denial-of-service attacks, port scanning, or other malicious network activity
  • Copyright Infringement: Unauthorized distribution of copyrighted material
  • Terms of Service Violations: Any other violations of our Terms of Service

Our Response Process

When we receive an abuse report:

  1. We review the report and investigate the claim within 24-48 hours
  2. If we confirm a violation, we take immediate action, which may include:
    • Suspending or terminating the tunnel
    • Blocking the subdomain
    • Suspending or banning the user account
    • Reporting the activity to law enforcement when appropriate
  3. We may contact you for additional information if needed
  4. We respond to reporters when action has been taken (if contact information was provided)

False Reports

Filing false or malicious abuse reports is a violation of our Terms of Service and may result in action being taken against the reporter's account.

For Copyright Holders

If you believe your copyrighted work has been infringed, please include:

  • Identification of the copyrighted work
  • The URL where the infringing material is located
  • Your contact information
  • A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner

Response Time

We aim to respond to all abuse reports within 24-48 hours. Critical issues involving active phishing or malware may be addressed immediately upon verification.
